Indian & Hindu celebrations in Melbourne's south-east

Indian & Hindu Wedding and Sangeet Venue in Bentleigh East, Melbourne

A grand, pre-styled ballroom for every joyful function.

One venue for every vibrant moment

Built for scale, colour and celebration

Big celebrations deserve a big, beautiful room — and that's exactly what Whitestone offers. Our ballroom holds up to 300 guests beneath a permanent silk floral canopy and crystal chandeliers, giving Indian and Hindu weddings the scale and glamour they call for, whether you're planning a Sangeet full of dancing, a Baraat entrance, or the main reception itself.

Multi-function celebrations are what we do best. Our event specialist works with you across the whole journey — coordinating caterers, entertainment and styling so that each function, from the Sangeet to the big day, comes together without you having to manage it all yourself.

Catering, beverages & cultural touches

Your menu, your traditions

We don't run an in-house kitchen for events, which is good news for your menu — it means our commercial kitchen is simply handed over to your chosen caterer, whether that's a family favourite or one of the South Asian catering specialists from our trusted supplier network. If you're planning a Sangeet, mehndi or multi-day celebration, let your event specialist know early so we can help plan catering and styling across each function.

On the bar side, we offer both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage packages, so however your families like to celebrate, it's covered.

One practical note: if your day includes a Vidaai, petal shower or rice-throwing moment, flag it with your event specialist ahead of time — a small number of items, including confetti and loose flower petals, aren't permitted, to protect the venue's finishes.
